Being on Roaccutane doesn’t automatically mean you’re unable to have laser hair removal. Treatment may be possible if your skin is healthy, intact and not experiencing significant dryness or sensitivity, and you don’t have a history of keloid scarring.
Before proceeding with treatment, the clinic team will need to assess your skin and complete a test patch. If you’re suitable to proceed, treatment will be performed using conservative settings to help ensure your skin is treated safely.
If you’re using topical tretinoin directly on the area being treated, additional clearance may also be required.
